HER NEXT STEP — from professional experience to a real step in Israel
Many immigrant women arrive in Israel with education, a profession, a service or an early business idea. What they often lack is not ability, but the bridge to a new market: professional Hebrew, local business knowledge, a network and a safe way to test their next move.
HER NEXT STEP is a proposed new 12-month bilingual accelerator for 24 immigrant women. Two cohorts of 12 will combine practical business Hebrew with financial and digital skills, individual guidance and a real market test. The programme will be based in Netanya, with hybrid participation available to women in other Israeli cities.
What each participant will build
- a clear offer for a specific customer;
- a simple financial model and a digital business asset;
- at least five customer interviews or an equivalent market test;
- a 90-day action plan and a route into Israel's existing business-support services.
What the pilot is designed to achieve
At least 20 women will complete the programme, 16 will test an offer in the market, and six graduates will be prepared as peer leaders for the next cohort. The programme does not promise a guaranteed income and does not replace a full business incubator. It creates an accessible first bridge from prior experience to customers, professional services and local networks.
How donations will be used
The working 12-month budget is ₪120,000. Donations will support programme leadership, 20 group workshops, 72 individual guidance sessions, business-Hebrew and digital labs, transport and childcare access, prototype and market-test services, peer leadership, measurement and an open bilingual toolkit.
